It is good to always keep evangelistic resources on hand. One I like to give out is a short video called The Good Test. It presents the gospel with live street interviews in a convicting and gripping way. We give out free copies to the lost and also to believers who will share it with others.

On one particular day I was at the car dealer for an oil change. One of the salesmen is a believer and a good friend. As in times past, Peter and I fellowshipped for a while and then I left him some evangelistic booklets and DVD’s – knowing that he would put them to good use. A few months later, I was back for another oil change. Peter approached me with a big smile on his face. “Jim, you won’t believe what happened” he said. “I had a customer hanging around the showroom awhile back asking many questions about family problems and life. I couldn’t spend time with him so I gave him The Good Test DVD and told him that God wanted him to watch this. A couple weeks later this man calls me nearly in tears. He shared with me that he and his daughter are now both Christians. They watched the DVD, understood the gospel and got right with God. God saved them!”

Right then and there Peter and I joined with the angels in praising the Lord. What an honor to share in the everlasting harvest. Please be generous with biblical resources and trust the Lord. He is faithful!
