If you have ever planted a garden, then you know that preparation is the hardest part. It takes diligence to break up the fallow ground, clear the stones and weeds, find and sow good seed, fertilize, water, and protect the future crop. Yet it is all worth it when you pick that juicy tomato months later. Some time ago I was visiting a Christian brother who was hurting. While there a friend stopped by and I began to share the Lord with him. Before he left I gave him our booklet 101 Last Days Prophecies. A week later I received a call from my Christian brother that this friend wants to get together with us right away. When I arrived, it was apparent that this man was different. He blurted out “I want to get saved!” The booklet was the final straw. With great excitement and joy we laid out the gospel. This man prayed to receive Christ right then and there. Since then this new believer has blossomed in the Lord. The harvest is truly joyful! But remember for there to be a harvest there must first be laborers toiling in the field. So be encouraged today and keep breaking up the fallow ground with God’s Law, keep sowing the good seed of His Word, and keep watering through prayer. It will all be worth it at the time of the everlasting harvest.
