The main purpose of these radio programs is to offer biblical ideas on sharing the everlasting gospel. How did the prophets witness? How did the apostles and first century disciples witness? How did John the Baptist witness? Most importantly, how did Jesus witness and how can we reach out to our current generation as Jesus did? Of course, we all need to study God’s Word to show ourselves approved, a worker who need not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
However, this program is not about learning a technique for success. This is about obeying God’s Word. God blesses obedience. I have found there are many Christians who know the biblical way to share, but simply do not make themselves available.
Today’s program is a simple exhortation to make yourself available. Pray for an opportunity during your lunch break. Spark a conversation when you’re getting your hair cut. Approach that lonely school-mate.
On many occasions I’ve stepped out to witness and stumbled over my words. I have felt like I failed to be a good witness. However, as time has past I’ve found that God has turned for good my many bumbles. God is looking for a willing and obedient soul not a polished pro. Are you willing? If you are, God will use you.
