A Barna Research survey taken in 2003 showed that just 4% of America's adult population had a biblical worldview. Only 4%.
For the purposes of the research, a biblical worldview was defined as believing that absolute moral truth exists; that such truth is defined by the Bible; and firm belief in six specific views. Those views were: 1) That Jesus Christ lived a sinless life. 2) God is the all-powerful and all-knowing Creator of the universe and He stills rules it today. 3) Salvation is a gift from God and cannot be earned. 4) Satan is real. 5) A Christian has a responsibility to share their faith in Christ with other people. 6) The Bible is accurate in all of its teachings.
As a Bible-believing Christian, I hope you are shocked to learn that only 4% of Americans hold a biblical worldview. More importantly, I hope you are stirred to action. Remember, Jesus commanded us to “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations.” We’ve been commissioned and there are countless opportunities to reach out and proclaim God’s life-changing Word. This radio program is intended to equip believers to share the gospel and provide resources to convict and reach the lost. Eternal souls are at stake. Time is short. Please heed the Lord’s command today and go and make disciples.
